Back from injury...

It is the start of the new turf season in Ireland and a couple catch the eye. The first is a bit of a guess, Eireannach in the 2.15 at the Curragh. He is a well bred son of Rock Of Gibralter and hails from a stable that won the race in 2006. Jim Bolger also trains our second choice Buichas Mor in the 2.45. He wasn't given hard time on debut after meeting trouble in running and the form of the race has worked out well. The third choice today is at Wincanton, Hernando Cordobes in the 3.20. This one attracted plenty of support in the ring last time but didn't really like the testing ground. He is now back to a winning mark and will appreciate this better surface.
