Ascot is here.....

What a card starting with three Group one races. Our first selection is Amour Propre in the 3.05. Henry Candy really rates this sprinter who has done little wrong so far and looks a good thing if the ground remains fast. In the Ascot Stakes we have a sneaky feeling for Galient. He was unlucky in this race last year, getting stopped twice in his run. He goes off the same mark today and must go close for trainer Nicky Henderson. Our final choice on day one is the Dandy Nicholls trained Mister Manannan in the 5.30. He won by 7 lengths at Ponty with the runner up franking the form next time out. There could be more in the locker and he looks to have as good a chance as any.
