Things didn't go to plan yesterday

Let's see what we can do today. The first selection is Last Flight in the opener at Goodwood. Peter Bowen's charge hasn't raced on the flat for sometime, but has improved over 20 pounds in the last year or so over jumps. He still runs off his old flat mark, so could have got in here on a nice weight. Matraash is our second choice in the 4.00 at Goodwood. He has won his last two races in great style and the handicapper would have found it difficult to assess him. There could be more improvement to come and he may be the pick of the Johnston quintete.
